Back to About Us

We have been in business for 54 years and now involves the third generation.

Hershel and Betty Sensenich opened the store in 1955 but was originally opened in the building next door to where the store is located now.

When the store was initially opened there was already 5 jewelry stores located in Chillicothe.

The building was shared with Chris Geer who was an optometrist and the Picture before shows that location.

They were in that location for 17 years and then moved the store to the next door building where the store has remained.

Hershel and Betty's son Mike joined the family business in the late 1960's. He attended Trenton Junior College while working in the store.

In 1970 Mike was given a scholarship to attend a watch making school in Switzerland for a year.

In 1973 Mike took over managing the store and then his wife Becky in 1977 once they got married.

Mike and Becky's son Eric joined the family business in 1998 during his freshman year in high school.

Eric joined the family business full time after he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management in 2006.

We started importing watches and diamonds when Mike was over in Switerland and still do today.

Mike has made trips to Belgiam in the fall to buy diamonds but the last few years he has not been able to.

Hopefully next few years he will be able to make a trip.
